The Labor practice area of Jáuregui Del Valle is acknowledged for its preventive approach to labor conflicts, for the provision of consulting services to employers in the labor field in general and for their defense in Litigation.
Considering the extensive protectionism pro workers in our legal ecosystem, the Labor team is well recognized for providing quick and efficient solution to the different problems of companies in the labor aspects, thus managing to avoid them and / or diminish risks and economic contingencies to their clients.
From ensuring clients have measures in place to proactively avoid issues by offering preventive advice on Labor Issues and Liabilities, to assisting with Individual and Collective Employment Agreement Preparations, our team makes sure our clients are protected. We are experts in advising on negotiations with Unions. We also offer advice on Labor and Immigration planning for expatriates working in Mexico, including visas and work permits in global immigration cases, plus assisting on the far-reaching procedures of personnel transfers in Corporate Restructurings.
We also help a diverse range of organizations on Individual and Collective Litigation, Social Security Issues, Employee Profit Sharing and Individual Labor Agreements.

Practice Highlights
Jáuregui y Del Valle has been advising different companies from a wide range of indutries over the new COVID-19 regulations on the labour field in Mexico. The topics covered in our advisory were the suspension of activities due to the health contingency, the conditions of how the company may reduce the employees working hours thus proportionally reducing their wages if needed, the new health measures required in the workplaces, among other COVID-19 related topics.
Jáuregui y Del Valle advised on Labor and Social Security Matters in a project related to the construction of a gas pipeline between Nuevo León and San Luis Potosí.
Jáuregui y Del Valle advised on the Treatment of Labor Liabilities and their contingencies related to public bidding through which the transition of public services of drinking water, drainage, sewage, treatment and disposal of wastewater in the city of Veracruz to a client was made of the firm as an investor / operator partner.
Jáuregui y Del Valle offered legal assistance on the Labor Termination of all the workers of a plant in Toluca, State of Mexico and the same for all the workers of a company within the Beer Industry based in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
Jáuregui y Del Valle offered Legal Due Diligence advice on the Labor and Social Security aspects related to the purchase of a plant within the Pharmaceutical industry.
