Mr. Everardo Astudillo focuses his practice on federal and state tax controversies with special emphasis in procedures before the Mexican Tax Court and Constitutional Controversies (amparo lawsuits). He also has significant experience representing clients before tax authorities in non-litigation procedures such as tax audits, administrative appeals and settlements.
He provides advisory regarding federal and state taxes, domestic and crossborder tax issues, transactional planning, document preparation, and preparation of tax opinions on federal and state tax implications of business transactions.
Mr. Astudillo has been successfully involved in several negotiations for settlement (acuerdos conclusivos) between taxpayers and tax authority before the Mexican Tax Ombudsman (PRODECON).
